‘Stunning’ Sports car concept teased by Kia
It may be almost Christmas, but car makers are looking a bit further ahead than that with the current crop of teases and expectations for the 2014 Detroit Auto Show in January. Today’s offering comes from Kia, with the first teaser photo of a new concept heading for Detroit. Kia describe their car as a “stunning sports car concept” which has been designed by Kia’s California design team in Irvine, and is a 2+2 Sports Car which, say Kia, will make heads turn and provide superb driving enjoyment on road or on track.
Mazda has revealed the Mazda6 Estate ahead of its public debut at the 2012 Paris Motor Show alongside the new Mazda 6 saloon. Last week saw the reveal of the new Mazda6 ahead of its public debut in Paris, and we knew that Mazda were planning to unveil the Estate version of the Mazda 6 at Paris too after they revealed it in Japan last month. And here it is.
The new BMW 2 Series (pictured) gets a range of M Performance Parts
The opposite side of the coin from debadging your high-end BMW so no one knows you’re packing a big punch is adding M Performance parts to turn your lowly diesel in to something that looks like it will win every traffic light grand prix going. And when the new BMW 2 Series Coupe – the replacement for the 1 Series Coupe – arrives in the UK in March 2014, buyers will have a wide range of options from the BMW M Performance Parts offerings to tweak the interior and exterior looks, suspension and the engine. Power upgrades are available for the 220d Coupe which increase the output of the 4-cylinder diesel by 16bhp and adds an extra 29lb/ft of torque for a new output of 197bhp and 310lb/ft of torque, despite which official economy figures remain unchanged.
